A to Z Bible Verse Challenge Week #8

This week for the Truth from A to Z challenge over at The Happy Wonderer we have letter H. 

I have picked the word HOPE for the letter H. 

Here is the definition of hope:  a feeling of expectation and desire for a certain thing to happen.   During this time I feel like so many people are empty and searching for hope.  

but those who hope in the Lord
    will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
    they will run and not grow weary,
    they will walk and not be faint.

Isaiah 40:31

The Lord is the only true hope we have.  Because of Jesus we have the hope of heaven.
