For this week's verse we have Psalm 20:7:
"Some trust in chariots, and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God."
There are many things in which we can place our trust. These things won't last though. Money will run out. We could lose our health. Our vehicle may quit running. Our friends may disappoint us. In all the things we can choose to put our trust, the Lord is the only One that will not ever fail. The people around us may be trusting their bank accounts, power, or possessions, but we must still make the choice to put our trust in the Lord.
Let me know if I can pray for you this week.
Have a day of blessings!

AMEN! Its no use putting our trust in worldly things... I've learned that the hard way over the years.
God is all we need! He alone is worthy of our trust.
This is so true. All kinds of bad things can happen to our possessions and we can even lose our friends and family, but God never fails us. Thank you for this reminder.

you heart is the best...I do have a prayer need for a 17 year old...S...who was adopted from Russia, raised in a loving home....loves the Lord but who has been fighting thoughts that tell her to kill people. She went to see her pastor, her doctor and a psychatrist and they could only offer limited help. She doesn't understand why God isn't helping her. SHe asked if I would ask others to pray for her. She's a great kid....who is really struggling with a serious problem.
On the way home from church this morning I just started singing the old song, "Trust and Obey."I don't know why, it just came to mind. The words are so true. Thank you for this good post.
Oh so true, Bethany. I know many people who trust earthly possessions...
Thank you for the reminder that we should always look to the Lord :)
