From last week's verse I found it encouraging to see the phrase "He chose us in Him before the creation of the world." Doesn't it feel nice to be chosen? No one likes to be picked last for a team. We were chosen before the world was even made!
This week's verse is found in Hebrews 12:3, 4:
"Consider him who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart. In your struggle against sin, you have not yest resisted to the point of shedding your blood."

This scripture is so very, very true. It's our relationship with Christ that keeps us strong from "sinful men."
There is such a difference between "religions" and having a relationship with Christ.
My family and I left the LDS (Mormon) church just three months ago. To try and describe the freedom I feel is nearly impossible.
