My thoughts:
I am not very familiar with the What's in the Bible? series.  I have seen it but don't know a lot about it.

I think it is great there is a series for younger children.  These are board books, but I'd think they would be appropriate for those aged 4-6.  Some young readers may like to try to read them with a little help.  In God Made the Animals, I liked the variety of animals shown and the answer that yes God made all of them.

At the end of these board books is a section with some ideas for "further connection."  This has some good ideas of questions to ask while reading.  I like that it ends with "You are so loved by God."  What a great reminder for children and adults!

The coloring book has nice pictures for coloring.  They will be great additions to sharing Bible stories of the New Testament with young children.  A brief description of the stories is given as well as the biblical reference. Some of the stories included are: Mary and Joseph traveling to Bethlehem, the birth of Jesus, Jesus' baptism, and Jesus praying in the garden.

I really that the beginning starts with a page of the New Testament books of the Bible.
I also like the pages with just words of verses to color.

I received copies of these books from Hachette Book Group.  Thank you.

Have a day of blessings!
