Today I am thankful for...
~ my sweet, loving husband. I told him he has been so helpful to me as I've been sad about Meemaw. In the service he knew all the times I needed him to hold my hand or pat my back. He always knows just what to say or when to just not say anything. I love him!
~ my sweet boy doing such a good job in Meemaw's memorial service. He was willing to do whatever my Mom wanted for the service. When Meemaw died he marked "I'll Fly Away" in his songbook we gave him for Christmas. He led that song and "Amazing Grace" and read a poem.
~ the nice memorial service we had on Saturday for Meemaw. I think she would be proud. :) It was also nice to see so many of my cousins. Caleb had such a fun time after the service playing with his cousins that he rarely gets to see. It was neat how they all had such fun together.
~ having so many pictures! Last Friday when we got to my Mom's house we ate and then started going through pictures to make a display for the service. She had a tub of Meemaw's pictures I started looking at first. There were a lot of black and white photos that I didn't know who the people were. Then after we went through that tub my Mom had a tub as well as some albums. We went through those and found so many good ones of so many great memories! You can't take too many pictures!
~ the pretty sunny days we've had this week. Definitely warmer than last week. And I heard birds singing too.

I have went and labeled all my pictures on the back because my grandmother had so many that we didn't know who were that people had given her over the years. Oh how I wish we would have some warm days. I am tired of being cold.
I am so sorry for your lost but what a blessing she was in your life and how wonderful your son and husband are. What blessings. Many hugs to you during the difficult time.

I'm sorry about your Meemaw! It's great your little boy did those things. That is so sweet!
I love pictures!! I take so many. I need a camera. Mine broke almost a year ago and I have been using my phone. Have a great evening!
