We all enjoyed the trip. This was our second time to go. In the past we have gone to the State Fair of Texas around this time of year. Last year we decided to go watch the Wildcats play instead and thought it would be fun to go again this year.
We left Saturday, ate a late lunch, and went to the stadium. We arrived to our seats about 3:00. The boys walked around for a little bit before the game started. It was a great game and ACU won, 34-31.
We stayed at a La Quinta in Euless. If you are in the DFW area and need a place to stay, we really like this LQ. It is newly built and very nice and the beds are very comfy. It has an indoor pool and fitness center too.
Sunday we did a little shopping, had a yummy lunch, and then came home. I'm glad we can do fun things like this as a family. We all agreed it was fun and that the weekend sure did go fast for us!
