Prayers & Promises Week #5

For February the verses I will be sharing each Sunday will be on the topic of GRACE. Here is a definition I found:
Grace: favor or good will. mercy; clemency; pardon.
I like to think of graces as getting something from God that I don't really deserve. There are many verses in the Bible talking about grace. Here is this week's verse found in Hebrews 12:15 (NIV):

"See to it that no one misses the grace of God and that no bitter root grows up to cause trouble and defile many."

This seems to me to be a warning in this passage to the people to be careful how they are living. They need to help others not miss out on the grace God is giving to them.

Please join me this week in prayer for these requests:

~ Charlotte in her surgery.

~ Healing for Denise's husband Eddie.

~ Recovery for Michele's grandson, Travis.

~ Recovery of personal friend Claire as she still recovers from her car accident.

~ Safe travel for my husband this week on his short trip for work. Also healing for his ear. He is still have trouble hearing after his ear infection.

Do you have a favorite verse on grace that you'd like to share today? Thank you for visiting me. Join us at Spiritual Sundays!

Have a day of blessings!

1 Peter 5:10

And after you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, will Himself perfect, confirm, strengthen and establish you.
