Proverbs & Prayers: Week #32

Here is a new verse for this week. I really liked this one.
It is Proverbs 17:14--

"Starting a quarrel is like breaching a dam so drop the matter before a dispute breaks out."

Isn't that wise advice!

This week's prayer requests include:

~ Clayton, Kate, and Anderson....all three are children I've mentioned before battling brain tumors.

~ Orion. This is the 4 year old son of one of my college friends. Last week they found out he has a brain tumor. It is infused in his brain stem so they cannot do surgery. The doctor's have not given this family much hope that there is anything they can do for their son.

~ teachers preparing for a new school year.

~ our leaders and President. They need our prayers desperately.

Have a wonderful week!

Special Note: I was going to do a separate post about this but I'll just put it here. I have a few specific posts I'll do over the next two weeks but I'm not going to be visiting/commenting much. Just wanted to let you know I'm on a semi-break and will see you all again in a couple weeks. I have a couple special posts coming up though I will post that I hope you'll read! Thanks!

Just wanted to stop by and tell you that I said a prayer for you all today concerning the new school year and your little one heading to Kindergarten.

Hope you have a wonderful week!

Take lots of pictures! You will treasure them. In my minds eye I can see a picture of our daughter as she looked out the bus window on the first day of school. The school was just a short distance from our house but she rode the bus. Don't forget the pictures.
