For this week's favorite I've chosen "Who Am I?" to share with you. Here are the lyrics.
This song always blesses me when I hear it. It reminds me that even though we each are given only a short time on this earth, God cares for each of us and knows us each one by name. He knows the intimate details of each and every heart. He doesn't just put us here and forget about us. We are His precious children. When I think of the vastness of the universe, even the large number of people just in my little city, my mind can't comprehend how God can know each one of us. Yet I have faith that He does just that. We are special and we are loved. He carries us if we let Him. He holds us and renews. He calms us during the storms. He wants to carry our burdens for us.
This song reminds me of several Bible verses:
"Now listen, you who say, 'Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business and make money.' Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes. Instead, you ought to say, 'If it is the Lord's will, we will live and do this or that.' " James 4:13-15
"Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you." I Peter 5:7
"Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? Yet not one of them is forgotten by God. Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Don't be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows." Luke 12: 6, 7
Hope you and your family have a nice weekend. Thank you for stopping by Raindrops & Rainbows today! You are special to our Creator.

"And why do you worry about clothes? See how the lilies of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? So do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?' For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them." Matthew 6:28--32

It never ceases to amaze me how much God loves even me. Great song!
Have a great weekend!
I love that song too! Looking back on situations, I often think of how much easier it would have been to "cast it all to Him."
Oh, I LOVE this song. My sweet husband and I sang it in church together a few years ago. Great words of encouragement today! Blessings to you!
This is one of my favorite songs! Thanks for sharing it.
I love that verse.
Your watch sounds like it was really a fun watch. Whatever happened to it?
