Thankful Thursday

How did I forget my Thankful Thursday post this morning! I read this verse today in a book I'm reading by Beth Moore called "The Beloved Disciple" and thought it would go along with my thankfulness. It is John 1:14, 16.

"The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. From the fullness of his grace we have all received one blessing after another. For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. "

Notice verse 16...."one blessing after another." I love that! Thank you, God, for your blessings!

Today I am thankful for many things!

*My sweet husband giving me thoughtful Christmas gifts. I always think he does a good job shopping for me.

*My sweet boy who was so brave while getting his immunization. He told us he was worried after we finished.

*The fun holidays and all the wonderful memories we made together.

*Car insurance. I had my first fender bender a couple weeks ago. There was no damage to our vehicle thankfully and no one was hurt.

*The plans we are making for the coming year and what new things God will do for us. I look forward to a new year of 2008.

That is a great verse, and characterizes your list well! I'm glad your hubby is a good shopper--so is mine :)
