1 lb. ground beef
1 sm. onion chopped
3/4 c. water
1 envelope taco seasoning
1 can tomato sauce
1 pkg. (8 0z). shell macaroni cooked/drained
1 can green chilies
2 c. shredded cheddar cheese, divided
In a skillet, cook beef and onion over medium heat until meat is not longer pink; drain. Add water, seasoning, tomato sauce; mix. Bring to a boil; reduce heat, simmer 20 min. Stir in macaroni, chilies, and 1 1/2 c. cheese. Pour into a greased baking dish. Sprinkle with remaining cheese. Bake 350 for 30 minutes or until heated through.
