We had a fabulous time at Caleb's birthday party! The cookies and cupcakes were a big hit. Caleb was so excited as he saw his friends driving up into the parking lot. They all seemed to enjoy the playground and get nice and sweaty in a short time. Caleb did take a fall off the picnic table onto the cement as he was opening his presents, but he was okay.
After we ate lunch he got to look at and open all his new things. He took a nap but didn't sleep as long as normal. I think he is just too excited. He is working on a wooden fire truck now. The first step was to paint it. The picture on the box has five different colors, and I only had yellow in my stash so he's starting on the yellow part now. Daddy is telling him it is a project that will take more than one day.
