The night before my oldest son's girlfriend had broken up with him after almost a year of dating. Seeing the snow and thinking of that verse brough a comfort to my heart that he would be okay, God was with him and He is faithful. (And now she's his wife.)
2. Tell us about the last time or a recent time you were caught up in red tape. Does it send your frustration level off the charts or is it something you've come to expect when dealing with any sort of bureaucracy?
I would say working on this loan for our new house there has been red tape for the renovation project aspect. There is paperwork for the ones doing the projects and one won't do it. We will find someone else.
I wasn't too frustrated with this development because at this point we can find someone else to do it and just not include it in the loan part. I have told myself it isn't in my timing and to remember unexpected things will probably be part of the entire process and to just accept that (even though so of it is annoying).
3. Do you eat/like fish? Do you cook fish at home? What's your favorite fish dish? Ever been ice fishing?
I wish I liked fish. I think I don't because my Mom didn't because she would have a reaction to eating it. I will eat fried catfish on the rare occasion at a fish fry. I don't cook it at home. I would like to try some kind that is good and doesn't taste fishy.
I've never been ice fishing.
4. Did you watch any of the US President's Inauguration coverage on Monday, Jan 20? On a scale of 1-10 (with 1 being not at all and 10 being very very) how interested are you in politics in general? Do you follow/keep up with/ get involved with local politics?
Yes we watched the Inauguration on Monday. We were all home. I like seeing the former Presidents together on stage. Carrie Underwood did great. I loved when the "Battle Hymn of the Republic" was sung as well.
I would say my interest level in politics is about a 6. I like to know what is going on in general terms but not every single detail.
I follow our local politics for our city.
5. What's the coziest thing you own and what makes it so?
In winter I love my fuzzy robe. I've had it a long time. I wear it all through the cold months all through the day. I just like having it on and it makes me feel warm and cozy. I havd another one when I was pregnant with Caleb and my husband got me this new white one (It's not new any more!). So the other one I leave in the camper and wear when we are in it.
