Thankful Thursday

April is zipping right along!  Not many more days left in the month.  I started looking at our May calendar.

This week I am thankful for...

~ all my husband does for me and our family...how he listens and cares about me.

~ the times I saw my big boy when he's been at home or when he gives me a hug before he heads back out the door.

~ celebrating our 8 year old at his skating party on Saturday with family and friends.  He asked friends to do a donation to the non-profit started by his brother instead of gifts.  It was a sweet surprise!

~ time to read.  I love when I am in the middle of a good book and want to keep reading!  I posted a review of Amanda Cabot's new book recently, I'm glad I have books and have the ability to read.

~ fruit!  I have always loved fruit, and this week I had some good fruit...raspberries that tasted especially good!

~  reminder from God....it surprised me yesterday to see this verse FOUR different times through the day in four different places.  First it was on my prayer calendar that I have to pray for a different teacher each day, then it was in my scripture writing for the day, then I heard it on my audio book, and finally last night it popped up on Facebook.  Here it is:

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6, 7

Have a day of blessings!
