1. Hello March! Is it coming in like a lion where you live? How do you feel when it rains?
No it is not coming in like a lion at the moment. I heard the birds chirping this morning as I was getting out of bed and it had rained lightly.
If I'm at home I love to hear the gentle rain falling.
2. What's something you'd like to do differently this week than the last? Explain.
I'm aiming towards eating less sweets as I was eating too many. But throw a birthday in there and cake and that makes it harder to eat less! The cake is almost gone and then I can focus on it.
3. March 1st is National Sunkist Citrus Day...do you drink orange juice? Orange, lemon, lime, tangerine, grapefruit...what's your favorite citrus fruit? A dish you love with a citrus fruit as one of it's key ingredients?
I do enjoy orange juice but do not drink it often.
My favorite citrus fruit is lemon to add to my water.
My Mom makes a jello salad with mandarin oranges that I really like.

4. What do you consider to be your culture. Elaborate.
Hmmm....American, Texan. I've always been proud to be from Texas.
As I've read other posts they have mentioned Christian as well and that is who I am. I didn't think to include it at first because I was thinking along different lines when I read the word "culture."
5. Sum up your February in fifteen words or less.
Celebrated Valentine's Day, first benefit dinner, and another year older this week
6. Insert your own random thought here.
I look forward to spring this month! Flowers will be blooming soon and baseball season is starting for my little guy. My husband will celebrate his birthday this month and we are expecting a new niece to join the family this month too.

Happy birthday! There were many ways to run with the culture question and those answers have been interesting to read today. Have a great March!
I didn't mention Christian as part of my culture either although I would identify myself that way. I think it's interesting how we all had such different approaches to answering that question. And the other questions as well!
It is nice to hear the gentle rain falling. I used to like that at my dad's summer home. I keep trying too with the sweets but then you have something to celebrate and I know that I can't resist. Yes, I use lemon too in my water. That's awesome about your pride for being a Texan. Happy Birthday to you!! Happy Birthday to your husband too and how exciting about the new niece.
