February always goes by quickly for me. Next week I'm turning 44. I'm thankful for this past year, the lessons learned and the adventures we had.
This week I am thankful for...
~ my husband doing things around the house on his day off on Monday.
~ my big boy doing a wonderful job organizing the benefit dinner for the non-profit he started. It was a great evening!
~ getting to surprise my little guy at lunch with a milkshake. The nurse had called and told me he complained of his ear hurting. He rarely complains about things hurting at school. I was glad they called to let me know and I could go see him at lunch. He was okay then, then had more ear pain after school so we went to the clinic. He's doing good this morning.
~ seeing family at the benefit dinner.
~ trying something new with my son's girlfriend...we met at the park this week and painted. I was able to enjoy it and not be worried about perfection which was nice.
~ springlike temperatures this week. I don't know if we will get another freeze or not but these warmer sunny days have been nice!
