Thankful Thursday

My boys have been in school for one week now.  I miss them but also like having a routine now as far as meal planning, bed time, and regular household chores.

Today I am thankful for...
~ my husband doing things for our boys.  For example, Titus likes to ride around on the "tractor" with Daddy.  He found out the battery was dead so went on his lunch break to get a replacement.  We always write letters for the boys after their birthdays with memories from the year.  His to Caleb this year was so thoughtful and sweet, it made me smile to read it.  He's a great Dad.

~ getting to watch my big boy in their first scrimmage last Thursday.  I've been excited for football!  Tomorrow is our first game!

~ for hearing the happy stories my little guy tells me about his day when I pick him up.  It's so cute how he will get in his seat, buckle up, and immediately open his lunch box and find whatever is left to eat as we drive home.  It's been fun hearing about his day.

~ taking morning walks in our neighborhood.  The temperature has been nice first thing in the morning after I drop off Titus.

~ a delicious roast in the crock pot for supper last night.  We bought half a cow and picked it up at the end of July.  This was our first time to have a roast.  It was so wonderful!  We all enjoyed it.

~  that I have a project to do at home to help the teacher during this time when I can't volunteer at the school.  They aren't allowing visitors right now.  I'm glad to be able to help though from home! I'm counting out various counters into boxes so each child has their own set to keep at their desk.

Have a day of blessings!
