Bunny's First Spring

About the book:
Bestselling author, Sally Lloyd-Jones (The Jesus Storybook Bible) paired with award-winning artist David McPhail offers a fresh, new perspective on the Easter Story and rebirth with a new picture book. When a bunny is born in spring, the world is green and new and full of hope. But as the seasons change, the bunny worries that the earth may be dying. In bestselling author Sally Lloyd-Jones’ latest picture book celebrating the Easter season and rebirth, children will be transfixed by one bunny’s discovery of life, death, and nature’s miraculous transformation. Award-winning artist David McPhail’s classic and inviting illustrations reflect the beauty of the world around us while Lloyd-Jones’ inspirational text weaves a hope-filled story perfect for the Easter season.

My thoughts:
I enjoyed reading the book Bunny's First Spring. The cover says it is appropriate for ages 4-8 which I find to be accurate.  This is a beautiful book to share with your child about the beauty of the seasons as they change.  When the bunny is born everything is alive and fresh. But as the seasons change bunny is worried about what is happening.  Spring comes again though!

I cannot say enough how much I enjoyed the illustrations.  They are so well-done and peaceful in my opinion.  The reader gets to see the transformation of the seasons through the illustrations.

This is a nice book to add to your personal library to read with your children.
