Thankful Thursday

This month for Thankful Thursday we are meeting at Women Taking a Stand.  She has an encouraging post today about the heat!
Today I am thankful for...
~ my supportive husband.  It gives me such encouragement that he supports me and loves me and is proud of me.

~ the fun I have with my boy.  We can have fun at home or going to do something together.  Also, he has been just talking so much it seems!  I don't know if it is really more than "normal" or what but he says the funniest things.   We were counting the money in one of his piggy banks (I don't even know where all this money came from! He had $40+ in change and dollar bills!) and he said he's saving that money for his truck.  I can't imagine him being old enough to drive!  But that's fine with me if he wants to start saving now!

~ Great news that Baby Kynsie got to go home!  This little newborn had open heart surgery at just a few days old.  She already got to go home too, what a blessing!

~ a sweet little boy named Anderson.  I am thankful for him and the courage I have seen by him and his family.  He went to be with Jesus this week.  Pray for his family.  You can read his amazing story here and see a picture of a sweet little guy.  Here is his Caringbridge.  (His Mom said on FB it was fine to share his story with others, he has touched so many lives.)

~ the encouraging book study I'm doing (also on FB).  The book is My Heart's at Home by Jill Savage.  Review coming in the near future as I'm almost done with it.

I am having a 31 days of prayer for our schools during the month of August.  Please see previous post if you'd like to join in prayer today for our schools.  Thanks!

Have a day of blessings!

Ahh your boy is so cute, atleast he's learning to save even at the early age.

We are blessed to have a supportive husband:)

May the Lord bless your grateful heart.
