This week I am thankful for.....
~ my husband being able to drive me out of town for my Dad's surgery last Friday.
~ our oldest son's safety when he's fighting fires in the 100 + degree days.
~ our DIL finishing her internship!
~ our youngest being able to join the youth group class at church! It's hard to believe he's in 6th grade.
~ my Mom doing well in her recovery after her surgery.
~ the life of one of our former preachers and his influence. He passed away suddenly over the weekend and today was the service. It was a packed service as we expected. He touched so many lives.
~ finding some cute "back to school" decorations for my entry way table and the teacher's table at school when PTO does snacks for them.

Glad that worked out for your dad's surgery. Keeping your oldest in my prayers for those fires. Congratulations to your daughter in law. Hope your youngest has a great school year. Glad your mom is doing well too. Sorry about the loss of the former preacher. Hope the first day of school goes well and the decorations look fabulous on the table.
