Wednesday Hodgepodge

1. What was your after school routine like when you were a kid?
I don't really remember.  I rode the bus home.  There is a video of me doing homework at the kitchen table talking to my baby cousin in her high chair eating her snack.
I remember playing school in my room a lot!

2. January 26 is National Green Juice Day ( I guess it's true everything really does have it's day). Do you juice, as in make your own in an attempt to get healthy? Do you do the green juices? What's your favorite kind of juice (home blended or store bought, either one)?

I do not juice.
I love a small amount of orange juice from time to time.  I never drink a full glass of it, I just want a few sips.

3. What's something trivial about which you have a strong opinion?

I heard a similiar question on the radio this week.  I really don't like having to look at grocery store ads online.  I like flipping through the physical copy and circling items I want.  So many have done away with printed ads.  We used to get ads in the mailbox on Tuesdays and they don't do that anymore.  I can still pick up one at the local grocery store if I remember.

4. What do you need more of in your life? Less of?

I need more prayer time.

I need less sugar!  I have a sweet tooth and could do with eating less sweets.

5. Give us three adjectives to describe your January.

productive (fundraiser dinner/silent auction for non profit at beginning of month + working on packing boxes for our move, my husband has been doing hings like filling holes in the wall and touching up the paint)

cold (a couple days of cold for us temperatures and a little snow thrown in too)

healthy (no sickness so far really besides a stuffy nose thankfully....lots of sicknesses going around here)

6. Insert your own random thought here.

We are moving along with the purchase of the new home.  Our closing date is being bumped out a few days it seems.  The appraisal came back fine this week.  I think that was the final item we were waiting to be completed.  We've been packing up things this week and I'm cleaning out the office.

Have a day of blessings!

I enjoyed reading your answers. Your three adjectives were interesting. Congratulations on the closing of the house coming up. I can't even begin to imagine how much you have to do. Take care.

I hope all goes smoothly with the closing of your new home. I've been out house hunting with my daughter a couple of times and home buying is stressful. It's fun to have a new place though!
