Often when my husband is driving I will make a noise if someone starts turning, changing lanes, or backing up in front of us....he is aware of the situation and it's fine, but I often overreact....
2. Your top five snacks?
Lately I've liked:
- almonds
- cheese (sliced off the block)
- pretzels
-Chex Mix
- chocolate chips (I like to eat a few if I want a little chocolate!)
3. What smell always brings back some type of memory? Elaborate.
Dove soap always makes me think of taking a bath at my great grandmother's house when we visited her.
4. What's something you learned from the last book you read?
One I just finished listening to was Memory Making Mom. Something I learned from it was there are many ways to make memories with our kids and not to negate the importance of the small things that we may find insignificant. These mean a lot ot our kids.
5. What's the next thing on your to-buy list? Will you make that purchase before the end of the year?
We want to get new couches. We have been putting money aside for that but don't know when that will be bought yet. We don't have the new one picked out.
6. Insert your own random thought here.
It's our first day of school A lot of schools started last week. We enjoyed our summer. My boy is in 4th grade this year.

I do that too when Mark is driving. He does get mad at me. Those sound like good snacks. That is a sweet memory with the Dove soap. Sounds like a good book. That's great that you are setting money aside for your new couches. Hope he has a great year in 4th grade.
Enjoyed all your answers but especially #3 and #4 - great memory, and a great insight into making memories. Have a great week!
Ooh, your answer reminded me I often do the same when hubs is driving. We need a new sofa too, but that will have to wait. I cannot believe the price and we're already spending more than intended outdoors. Happy new school year!
Oh boy, I tend to overreact in the car when my husband is driving, too. I'm trying to keep those noises to myself as it is even more dangerous to distract him...unless there is real danger out there. That sounds like an encouraging book for moms! I hope your boy has a wonderful 4th grade year! Thank you so much for visiting my Hodgepodge and leaving a comment. I appreciate it. Have a great rest of the week.
