1. April is National Jazz Appreciation Month. Are you a fan? If so what's a favorite you'd recommend to someone new to jazz listening?
I don't mind it, but it isn't my favorite.
I will say harp because I love the sound.
3. Do you judge a book by it's cover? Elaborate. You may answer in either/both the literal or figurative sense of the word.
Yes, I do. When I am at the library I may see a book I like the title on the spine, but then if I pull it out and don't really like the cover, I will put it back.
I also know I judge people too often from the first impression before I get to know them or sometimes before I know anything about them.
I know I've been wrong about books and people before!
4. According to a recent study the ten most nutritious foods are-almonds, cherimoya (supposed to taste like a cross between a pineapple/banana), ocean perch, flatfish (such as flounder and halibut), chia seeds, pumpkin seeds, swiss chard, pork fat (shocking! but I don't think they mean bacon), beet greens, and red snapper. Are any of these foods a regular part of your diet? Any you've never ever tasted? Which would you be most inclined to add to your diet?No, I do not eat any of these. Almonds is probably the only one I've eaten on this list, maybe pumpkin seeds.
5. Besides a major holiday what is the most recent thing you've celebrated with your people? Tell us how.We had Titus' 3rd birthday party this last weekend. He will be 3 tomorrow! He wanted a train birthday. Here is his cake made by my Mom.
We'd invited family and friends to a party at the park at 10:30....well a cold front came and dropped the temperature from the 70s during the week to 30 degrees on Saturday. We went ahead and had a very quick party before heading to my Mom's house for lunch with the family. It turned out fine.

We have had a nice week celebrating our boy.....Today is his 3rd birthday!!

I think a harp would be fun to try. A book cover will grab my attention but the description must sell me too. I think we are born to judge or maybe just the world has changed us to be judgmental. Titus's cake is adorable. Glad he had a nice party.
