Thankful Thursday

Today I am thankful for...

~ my husband being at home with us!!  He was supposed to go back to work on the hurricane recovery team this week, and it got changed so he is home.  I've been extra thankful for him to be here.

~ watching my boy play in the band at the high school game.  It was homecoming and the 8th graders got to play with the high school band during the game and for when the queen candidates came out. He is doing well on his trumpet and enjoys playing it.

~ seeing my little guy learn new things, such as expressing his emotions.  This has been interesting to watch from a Mom's perspective.

~ getting 6 more hours of continuing ed.  I went to a class yesterday.

~ Mom sharing some chicken salad and soup she made!  We had them for lunches and they were yummy. 

~ fall weather and chilly mornings.
