Thankful Thursday

It's time for my Thankful Thursday post. Our week has gone quijcly even with my husband gone on a business trip.  Our mornings have been quick with us getting Caleb to basketball practice before 7, and our evenings have been smooth and fun. The temps have been in the 70s after being in the teens over the weekend so we've played outside too.

This week I'm thankful for ...
~ reminders of all the many things my husband does to help me/us. We've missed him this week!  Also thankful he's home now safely!

~ my big boy being so helpful to me and also talking to me about his school days. I enjoy those times of him telling me what is going on.

~ my baby boy is 21 months old today. He is learning so much and is a happy boy,  This week Monday morning on the way to school he was singing "Jesus Loves Me." We can understand parts of the tune and words now along with motions. He leaned those in His Sunday morning class. It is so precious to hear him sing it.

~ having lunch with one of my friends from church. We enjoyed nice conversation, and she enjoyed seeing us and talking to Titus.

~ sunny weather. You never know what kind of weather you'll have in Texas. It was nice to have a few days that felt like spring!

~ fellowship lunches at church. We have these every second Sunday. The church provides the meat, rotating between fried chicken and BBQ, and everyone brings sides and desserts. We look forward to it each month.

Have a day of blessings!

Mark was out of town this week and I love when he arrives home all safe and sound. Since our daughter moved away after Thanksgiving I am thankful to still have our son here. I was thinking how easy it was for me when I had my first empty nest with both of them leaving. This time it is way different and our son will be moving out pretty soon too! I'm not sure that I am going to like being alone when Mark travels now.

Your boys are growing up so fast. How sweet for your little one to be singing Jesus Love Me. You have so many blessing to be thankful for.
