Thankful Thursday

We are joining together for Thankful Thursday over at Grace Alone this month.

I am thankful this week for so many things.  Here is my list....

~ my husband helping me get things ready for the party last weekend.  I'd made a list for Caleb and I to work on during the week so we wouldn't have as much to do at the last minute.  It worked out well and I was grateful for my husband's help.

~ enjoying fun birthday celebration weekend for our boy.  I can't believe he is 9!  We had fun celebrating him on Saturday with our family and then again Sunday after church with church friends.  Then Monday we had our family day.  He chose to eat at Chick fil a for lunch (it was funny to me he chose this for his birthday because we eat their often but it is his favorite so I guess that is why he picked it.  Usually he chooses a place we don't go to often like Olive Garden.) and we went swimming followed by frozen yogurt and Daddy cooking burgers for supper.

~ having our new shed delivered.  We ordered it back in July, and it was delivered today.  It looks nice!  Caleb took pictures for me while they delivered it (before he and Daddy went to breakfast before Daddy went to work!).

~ finding a new dentist I like.  As I sat in the chair I had a lovely view out of a huge window of trees full of bird feeders.  Caleb went with me and enjoyed watching the birds and squirrels.  He said he'd like to come with me the next time I go in 6 months but I told him he'd be in school then.

~ spending time with our family at Caleb's party.  It was so nice to see every one, and we were thankful they all got to come this year.

Have a day of blessings!

Bethany,

Yea, finding a good dentist is key. I have a real serious phobia with dentists. Every single visit to the dentist for me is traumatic for a number or reasons. I've not been to the dentist since 2003 (10 yrs). I only go if a major dental malfunction happens for me.

Happy Thursday blessings!
