This week I am thankful for...
~ being able to celebrate my husband on his birthday this week! We took him a picnic lunch we made and also a cake and balloon to his office. Then we blew up balloons and hid them in his truck to find after he got off work. We snuck up and watched him too when he was getting off and going to his truck. He is such a blessing, and I'm so thankful to be his wife.
~ my obedient boy with his positive attitude. When we left him in his class at church, I told him if a teacher didn't come (I wasn't sure who would be there because it was spring break week) for him to come out to sit with us. Later he comes and sits with us because no one came. I was proud of him for making the decision to come and obey.
~ sweet cards in the mail I received in the past week from my aunt and a church friend.
~ a day to go to the park and fly a kite. It wasn't on my original plan for Monday but Caleb had the idea and I knew the other "stuff" on my list could wait! It isn't every day I can go take my boy to the park!
~ getting a savings card in the mail for one of my husband's prescriptions. It was a big savings too and a surprise to us both!

I am so glad that you took the chance to fly a kite with your son. You are right, we need to take those opportunities to spend time with our children :)
