Prayers & Promises Week #8

Since I've been choosing verses on grace, I've come across so many things relating to this subject. I read a nice post this week on grace that I wanted to share with you today as well. I am blessed every time I read a post at Mommy Accountability and I hope you will take time to read her wonderful post "Extending Grace."

Also on Saturday Linda reminded me of a great song called Wonderful Grace of Jesus.

This week's verse on grace is Titus 3:5-7--
"He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that having been justified by His grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life."

Please remember the following in prayer:

~ Harlan as his foot continues to heal. He went to the doctor this week and got a good report as far as no infection. He'll be off his foot for 3 months. Pray for his wife as she cares for him and their two young girls.

~ Steven's family. Last Saturday Steven died in Cancun where he was on a trip with his wife. He was only 30 years old. Pray for his family and friends as they have so many questions right now.

~ Rita's family. Rita's sweet Mom passed away this week after a lengthy illness.

~ Denise and her husband Eddie.

Thank you for visiting today on Spiritual Sundays.

Have a day of blessings!

I love the song Wonderful Grace of Jesus. I still remember the first time I heard it at a Sunday School convention in the L.A. area.
Thank you for sharing these prayer requests. I am adding my prayers for these.
Blessings,
Charlotte

Hi Bethany, I am so thankful for God's grace. Where would we be without it? That is so sweet of you to post prayer requests. I have a praise report! Ron (colon cancer)is in week three of a new Chemo. He has absolutely no side effects. This truly is a miracle! Ron feels wonderful; God has called him to work with the youth in our church. Thanks be to God for his amazing grace!

I always enjoy reading Titus, thank-you for sharing this scripture today. I will be praying for all of these people. I had been asking for prayers for a young girl name Hope on my sidebar for awhile now. They have not up dated the blog since Jan. I just went there a day or two ago and the blog has been removed.I went ahead and removed her from myside bar until I learn more. I'm still praying for Hope and her family. She has cancer and I pray for the best but I just don't know.
God Bless you and thank-you for letting us know of these prayers that are needed.
God Bless,
Ginger

I'm finding that grace is a recurrent theme this Spiritual Sunday. It's the first time I've joined, and seeing my meditation confirmed by several other bloggers is such a blessing. Thank you.
