The verse for this week is II Corinthians 9:12-- (correction! I had the verse wrong!)
"This service that you perform is not only supplying the needs of God's people but is also overflowing in many expressions of thanks to God.
As I've been reading a book on gratitude (which I plan to post my review of on Monday) I noticed this verse on being thankful. Generosity is tied to gratitude. When we are generous, we give others the opportunity to be thankful and praise to God. We need to remember our generosity is not only our money; we can be generous with our time as well. I encourage you to read this entire passage in II Corinthians 9.
Thank you for visiting me today for Spiritual Sunday.
Have a day of blessings!

Amen.
Giving of ourselves, our heart, our time and our money. First to HIM and then to others.

What a great verse. I'm going to write that one down!
Hope you're having a great weekend!

We have so much; we should be generous. Thanks, Bethany.
The Bible says that God loves a cheerful giver. People also love people who give cheerfully not only of their money but of their time and attention. Thank you for sharing this with us today.
Blessings,
Charlotte
We need to be generous with everything we have. And we need to be grateful for all that we have and the opportunity to share.
Giving is such a true blessing, like you said even with our time. I need to be more generous with my time.
Blessings,
Ginger
Giving of our time is such a great investment. It also shows others that we are willing to invest our time in them!
Happy Sunday!
What a great topic!
