Have you seen Fireproof?

If you have not yet, go see it! I was so happy it was still at our local theater. My husband and I got to watch it last night. It was as wonderful as I expected after all the wonderful reviews I'd read from my blog friends and others. We need more movies like this.

I think anyone would benefit from this movie...especially married couples. Any relationships would benefit from the lessons about love though.

I saw Amanda had posted the song "Love is not a fight" on her blog after she saw the movie. I was waiting for it the whole way through. It is such a great song.

Another song that played I really liked too ("While I'm Waiting"), and I didn't realize my husband has the CD. We got to listen to it again on the way home. I'll probably write a separate post about this song.

Have a great Saturday!

"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres." I Corinthians 13:4-7

BP,

Thank you for your sweet comment over at Laced with Grace yesterday. What a blessing that your Elizabeth is your mom AND your friend Steph.

I LOVED your blog. The pumpkins are darling. And yes, I have seen fireproof. I LOVED it too. I am even on day 2 of the Love Dare. My bloggy pal Chelle at theworldofchelle.blogspot.com is hosting it. Check it out if you get a chance.

Blessings, Joanne

I have not seen it yet but I really want too. My husband and I went to a marriage retreat and the theme was centered around the movie. We got to see clips from the movie and the ones we saw were very moving. I am so excited that this church has taken on this ministry.
