Thankful Thursday

It is a blessing to participate with so many others each week in giving thanks. I've put the TT button on my sidebar now.

This week I am thankful for...

*seeing my husband spend time with our son. They always find something to do together in the evenings. They both look forward to this time each day.

*hearing my son go to the window and say "Thank you God for the rain." It was precious to hear him say this.

*living in this land of America and the freedoms we enjoy even though we often take them for granted.

*books that inspire me and make me think. (I'll be sharing this book for my book list when I finish it soon!)

*the smell of sweets baking in my oven!

I hope you have been blessed this week. Be sure to thank God for the blessings in your life, both big and small. He is the giver of all! Have a great day! Thank you for stopping by Raindrops & Rainbows today.

23 "Sing to the LORD, all the earth;
proclaim his salvation day after day.

24 Declare his glory among the nations,
his marvelous deeds among all peoples.

25 For great is the LORD and most worthy of praise;
he is to be feared above all gods.

26 For all the gods of the nations are idols,
but the LORD made the heavens.

27 Splendor and majesty are before him;
strength and joy in his dwelling place. " I Chronicles 16:23-27

I just want to grab that adorable child of yours and kiss him on the head. What a neat, neat moment.

Oh, you just gotta love God moments with children! This is too precious!

I don't have mine up yet, I'm having quite the busy day today. I just wanted to steal a moment and come over and check on you. Are you in one of the evacuation areas?

I love the smell of baked goods too! Unfortunately I like to eat them more than smell them. :)
