Quote

This quote was on my calendar September 5. I've left it turned to that day since then. I want to share it today.

"When you accept the fact that sometimes seasons are dry and times are hard and that God is in control of both, you will discover a sense of divine refuge, because the hope then is in God and not in yourself." --Charles R. Swindoll
Praise God that we can depend on Him in the hard times. He is our hope and peace.

"Great peace have they who love your law, and nothing can make them stumble." Psalm 119:165

"Is there any hope?" This is the question everybody seems to be asking. We cannot live very long without hope. In the past I had the bad habit of saying things like, "He/she isn't worth the lead it would take to shoot him/her" or "He/she is hopeless." My good wife helped me to realize that nobody is hopeless as long as there is a loving God. I guess this is also true of situations. Thanks for your good words and the encouragement they bring.
