Have you seen these pictures of the damage left by Hurricane Ike? I received this link in an email today. The pictures gave me chills to view all the destruction. Picture #2 is amazing. It was taken 220 miles above earth aboard the International Space Station.
Click here to see the pictures. And remember to pray for all these lives that have been turned upside down as they still lack normalcy in their lives.

Thanks for the pics- I spent so much time watching the news in anticipation of Ike that I really haven't seen many aftermath pictures.
We were able to donate some items at HEB today and that was a good thing.
What a sobering reminder. It seemed to me that so many needed our prayers today that I simply posted just that. Thank you for these pictures...I'm going to pass them on too.
God bless you for being such a prayer warrior! Blessings to you today sweet one.
The news coverage didn't even come close to depicting the devastation like these pictures.
I just stared & stared at #11. The lone house still standing looks like a little doll house left out on the ground.
Many displaced and hurting people need our prayers!
What sobering pictures.
My husband is in disaster recovery. He was in NOLA for 6 months. Right now, he's still in the office here making sure all the jobs are properly manned. I pray he's able to stay home through this one.
