Memory Verse Week 33

As I was memorizing the verse from last week, I found it was a perfect one for the week for a couple of reasons. From the things I learned through our miscarriage, one of my hopes has always been to be able to offer comfort to others going through a similar experience. I totally get what this verse says. We are comforted by God and because of that we are to offer that comfort to others because of our experiences. Another reason this fit for the past week was because of the stories shared by the Chapman family through their two interviews this week. If you have not seen the interview, I would encourage you to do so. You can find links to the Larry King interview here. It is amazing to hear of their faith and the hope they have. Even through their pain they are sharing their story and offering comfort for others in pain.

And now for this week's verse. It is I Timothy 1:1,2

"I urge, then, first of all , that requests, prayers, intercession, and thanksgiving be made for everyone--for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness."
