It was such a blessing to go on our trip and now we are thankful to be home again and back in the swing of things here. Thank you to those of you who prayed for us while we were away. When we were gone, I thought about Thankful Thursday on Thursday and all of the blessings we have in our lives.
Join us in giving thanks today! Thank you to Iris for hosting this for us each week!
Today I am thankful for...
*my sweet husband. He left me a sweet note for "no reason" this morning and that made my day. Also, this week he was so willing to help with putting up the laundry as we had a bunch of loads to do after our trip.
*being woken up this morning by our sweet boy. He came to our bed this morning as Daddy was getting ready for work and fell back asleep by me. Later he woke me up with his sweet little hand patting my face. It made me smile. I think we both missed our morning snuggle time when we were gone. I also heard him laugh in his sleep and that made me smile too!
*a cool breeze when I went outside this morning. It was nice to feel the coolness compared to the heat we've been having.
*air conditioned vehicles and home.
*the wonderful memories we have from our trip last week.
Have a blessed day! Thank you for stopping by.

that's so sweet ... having a loving family is such a wonderful blessing!
I'm glad you had a good time! Little boy hugs...precious and priceless.
Bless you sweetie, glad you enjoyed your trip.
such a lovely list! :) Im glad you had a great time away - your two men are God-given blessings :):)
Sounds like "Home" means the same to you as it does me. I'm happy you had a good vacation. Enjoy those special moments with little one, they grow up way too fast.

I just LOVED your list!!! What a wonderful husband to leave a note for you...I just love it when mine does the same...
Thanks for sharing you sweet list. When you mentioned your son, I kinda missed my son who's at home at the moment (I'm in the office). His laughter and smiles just make any day brighter.
There's no place like home!
I'm so glad you had a good trip. And yes, I have heard of that children's home. I'm really thankful you got to go. There's something about loving on and being loved one by children in that kind of situation that just breaks your heart - in a good way - breaking for the things of God.
Have a blessed weekend.
I am glad that you had a wonderful trip with your family. Time away from the day-to-day stuff is good for the soul.
Thank you so much for sharing your grateful heart with us.
Blessings to you and your precious family.
