Sleep study

My husband had a sleep study done back in March. Originally it was scheduled for February but it ended up being the days after we were getting over the flu. We went with him to his doctor appointment to find out the results at the beginning of April. He definitely has obstructive sleep apnea. The numbers the doctor gave us were rather high above the normal range.

It has been rather interesting to me to pay attention to his snoring and hear the patterns in his breathing. Lately I haven't noticed his snoring as much, so I don't know if I'm just more tired and fall asleep before him or if he's snoring less.

He has a titration study done next to determine if he can be fitted with the CPAP. We were looking at some online, they are rather funny looking!

Hopefully this would help him feel less fatigued during the day. He did not feel like he slept the first time he went so he is just ready to be done with this part.

I've been praying for him. Yes, they do look funny! My mom wears hers at night but if she forgets (she's so tried that she falls asleep before taking off her glasses!) then she feels horrible the next day! It might take her 3 days to recover, if she forgot to wear it at night. They use them in my hospital and the patients swear by them! I hope that he will feel an improvement right away! :) I'll keep him in prayer!
