Memory Verse Week 16

Last week's verse made me think about why I do what I do. It is every easy for me to try to please people. I want to make people happy. I have to remember that I am working to please God and that should be my motive.

This week's verse is another from 2 Corinthians.

"But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumphal procession in Christ and through us spreads everywhere the fragrance of the knowledge of Him. For we are to God the aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and those who are perishing. To the one we are the smell of death; to the other the fragrance of life."
2 Corinthians 2:14-16

This is a good verse and you are right. I find myself in that people pleasing trap too. Thanks for sharing!

It's so easy for me to want to please others. It can be so binding at times.
