Since we'll be celebrating Easter at the end of the month, I've chosen songs dealing with the "Resurrection and the Life" for the theme for my March Friday Favorites.
I've chosen The Old Rugged Cross for today's favorite. I also found a beautiful version played on a guitar you might enjoy. This is one song I nearly chose back in January for one of my favorite hymns, but I thought I'd save it for this month.
I'm thankful for the cross. I'm thankful for the reminder it is to me of the ugliness of my sin and the price that was paid for all of our sins. I'm thankful for the hope we have that the cross is not the end of the story.
Hope you have a great weekend!

My all time favorite hymn! Well, maybe it is tied with "In the Garden"....
This was powerful. Thanks!
