Thankful Thursday



I feel very thankful this morning. I was thinking of this verse this morning" Lamentations 3:22, 23 "Because of the LORD's great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail.They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness." When I went to bed last night I felt so worn down and had an ache in my shoulder. It was nice to wake up this morning feeling refreshed and ready for the day ahead.

This week I am thankful for...
*my husband knowing and understanding me as well as his willingness to listen when I have a problem.

*sweet good morning hugs and snuggles from my cute little boy.

*rain! It was such a blessing to receive rain on our dry land this week.

*the blessing it was for me to listen to the Focus on the Family broadcast about stay- at-home Mom's. I posted about it Tuesday. I plan to hear the second part of the broadcast today.

*my great cousin who just turned 20. I can't believe she is 20! Happy late birthday Chel! I'm proud of her and her work at college. I'm thankful for the fun memories I have of her through our growing up years together. I will always remember when she turned 1, and we gave her a cupcake with one little candle in it.

One of my greatest blessings and privileges is that I was able (and still am) to be a stay-at-home mom! It is the greatest "job" in the world.

My sister just turned 20 yesterday. Crazy kids.

As a stay at home mom and then one who worked only while they were in school (teaching), I can tell you, there are no regrets. We don't need half of what we think we need. Keep it up!
