Book: Bountiful Blessings

About the book:
This beautiful coloring book is for readers who want to unwind with a reminder of God's love and purpose for them. We often live our lives worried about to-do lists and responsibilities, forgetting how God feels about us and who we are in him. Because of this struggle, author Susie Larson began posting nightly blessings on Facebook to encourage her fans and friends, and since then, thousands have responded and forwarded the blessings along to others.

The left hand pages of this book contain a blessing packed with biblical promises as well as a related Scripture to point you back to God's timeless truth. The right hand pages contain beautiful, intricate illustrations for you to color that bring God's wonders into focus.

Read, rest, and create as you soak in the wonder of God's love for you.

My thoughts:
This is a very nice adult coloring book devotional. I liked the variety of drawings to color.....birds, flowers, trees, sea creatures, and butterflies to name a few.  The devotionals provided are very encouraging. They are short and to the point which is perfect to read before you enjoy some coloring time.

I received a digital copy of this book via NetGalley for my honest review.  Thank you.

Here's Some Happy!

What a great combination of two things I love.....coloring and journaling all in one book!  Here's Some Happy is a beautiful hard back adult coloring book by Gina Graham.

The book itself is a great size for coloring with large pictures to enjoy and other pages filled with lines for you to journal.  Some pages have Bible verses along with the pictures. I think some would be nice to take out and frame.  This book really did make me smile when I received it and first flipped through it.  I liked the cheerful drawings and designs.

Here is a sample of the pages.

I was provided a copy of this book from Hachette book group for my honest review. Thank you.

Adult coloring books

I have received three adult coloring books to review that I'd like to share with you today.  It is relaxing to me to color.  Adult coloring is very popular now, and I always like to see what new books are out there.  There are so many varieties with various themes and types of pictures. I have found types that I prefer are usually more abstract or with a phrase or word to color.

First I have The Parables of Jesus Coloring Book Devotional by Laura James and Katara Washington Patton.

The picture style in this one are not my favorite to color as they are mostly scenes with people related to the parables.  I did really enjoy reading the devotional writings about the various parables of Jesus.  The verse and devotional are printed on one page and then the next page is the picture to color.  I like that the backs of the pages are left blank.

Find out more at this link.

Next is the Joyful Inspirations Coloring Book by Robin Mead.

This book has pictures on both sides of the pages with a wide variety of images including fish, birds, crosses, flowers, and cities.  There are some Bible verses but not on every single page.

The author offers some coloring tips at the back along with her recommendations for coloring products.

This is the link for this book.

And finally.....

This one is called A Giving Heart by Stephanie Corfee

This book has a picture to color on one side and the back is the wording from the picture.  These pages are Bible verses and quotes about mothers to color.  There are some very beautiful pictures to color in this book and they would look very nice framed and hung in my opinion.

This book would make a nice gift for a friend or mother.

This link has more information.

These books were provided to me for my review from Hachette Book Group.  Thank you.

Be Bold

About the book:
Be Bold offers an outlet to simultaneously focus on God’s Word and express creativity. Using scripture as the foundation for her designs, Ellen Elliot takes readers through a series of inspiring verses reinforced with short devotional writings. Topics include joy, hope, self-image, peace, and more. Each coloring page and corresponding devotional will help the reader develop a closer relationship with the Heavenly Father.

My thoughts:
I have used several adult coloring books.  This is one of my favorites.  I LOVE the way the pictures are drawn and the big letters.  There is a short devotional to go with each verse to color.  The book is designed for teen girls with devotionals applicable to them but anyone really could enjoy it.  I have enjoyed reading the devotionals and coloring in this book.  One thing I would have changed is if the pages would tear out.  They would be pretty to frame.

This book was provided to me by the Tyndale Blog Network for my honest review.  Thank you.
