Thankful Thursday

"Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever." Psalm 118:1

What are you thankful for this week?  Here is my thankful list:

~ that my husband was off last Friday and we had some time to look for him a new vehicle.

~ our oldest being safe while he was on shift during the storm.  They had a huge number of calls. 

~ our DIL had left before the storm hit last Sunday.  

~ finishing a puzzle with our youngest.  He's going to hang it in his room.  

~ fresh tomatoes my Mom gave us from her garden and how good they taste.  I have some about ready in my little garden too.

~ safety in the storm on Sunday.  It was a very powerful storm with a lot of damage and destruction.  We made it home safely and didn't have power.  They got it back on a little after midnight.  

~ celebrating the 4th of July with a neighborhood parade, lunch at our friends' house, supper of hot dogs on the picnic table, and fireworks.
