I am raising brothers. Caleb is 18 and graduated last May (how has it already been a year?) and Titus is 8 and finishing 2nd grade this week. I'm so glad I have boys! Fun little story....Caleb was in 5th grade when Titus was born. One of Caleb's teachers was due around the same time as me. Her son is in Titus' grade and was on the same baseball team. Even though there is a big age difference they have a close relationship. As Caleb has gotten older and is gone more Titus misses having him around. They do go get snacks and play catch or watch a favorite show together. I pray they will always be friends and close.
2. A great book you've read or movie you enjoy that features brothers?
One audiobook series I've listened to recently has brothers as a main character...It is called An Amish Legacy by Amy Clipston. There are three brothers whose Mom dies...the first book is about the Dad and then the second one is about the oldest brother. The third one is about the middle brother and his strained relationship with his older brother and family. It's enjoyable series if you like the Amish genre.
3. Something you think is overrated? Something you think is underrated?
In my opinion Starbucks is overrated. I don't understand paying that much for coffee!
Something that is underrated is not being busy....I've heard/read a couple quotes lately about how much value people in general seem to put on busyness nowadays. Having blank space on the calendar is underrated in society!
4. How much does your past shape you? What parts have shaped you the most?
My past has greatly shaped me. One thing that sticks out is my faith. We were always active parts of a church family and worshipped each Sunday. That remains important to my husband and me and we continue to do that now as adults.
5. What's your favorite simple pleasure?
Reading in a hot bath is something I enjoy.

I agree with you about Starbucks. Not to mention, I can't afford their prices. It's crazy.
I'm visiting from the Hodgepodge! I enjoyed your answers today!
Oh I definitely agree that blank space on the calendar is an underrated experience! Maybe people don't know how good it can be because they haven't allowed themselves to experience it. Although I think I have too much of that good thing right now, to tell the truth.
Have a great week!
I'm glad they have a close relationship. I agree, I never go to Starbucks. I love a blank calendar. The older you get it is just filled with doctor's appointments. That is wonderful about your faith growing up. Enjoy your summer!
I enjoyed your answers. I love reading in a hot bath too..
