Thankful Thursday

It is time to say good bye to 2022.  What a year this has been for me and my family.  One friend told me after receiving our Christmas letter how it was so much for a year, how did all of that fit into the year.  As we end this year I am thankful for the answers to prayers we have seen and the growth my husband and I experienced as we trusted God and His plan and timing during our "season of disruption" as he was between jobs.

This week at the end of 2022 I am thankful for...

~ surprising my husband on Christmas morning with his gift (ReMarkable)  And that he is enjoying it.  I was so excited to give it to him.

~ also surprising my big boy with lights for his truck that he can use as a member of the volunteer fire department. He didn't think he was getting them yet. He can't use them until after his probation with the department, which will be in February.

~ enjoying the time home with my little guy.  We had such a good day being able to stay home together on Wednesday.  It was a pajama day for us.  We worked on cleaning up/putting up some Christmas stuff.  He is fun and such a good little helper and makes me laugh.

~ time to see family for Christmas.  I love this time of year and the being together and not having a set schedule.

~ being in the quiet of nature out at the deer lease.  It is so peaceful and relaxing to be there. Also seeing the stars is always amazing to me.

~ our Christmas tree and decorations.  I have enjoyed them.  Our tree is new.  We bought a fake one this year, we normally get a real one.  I made the JOY banner and I love hanging on the wall by our stockings.  The Nativity was my Meemaw's and I love having it.

Have a day of blessings!
