Wednesday Hodgepodge

1. What's something you wish you'd figured out sooner?
How much I enjoy audio books!  I never thought I would be a fan.  A few years back (it's been a while now) I started listening to them and love them.  I check them out on Hoopla at our library.

2. Something from childhood you still enjoy today?

coloring
I find it so relaxing to color.  I go to the coloring club periodically that is offered weekly at our library. I keep a bag of books with another bag with zipper pouches full of markers and colored pencils.

3. Are you a fidgeter? What's the first thing that comes to mind when you hear the word fidget?

I don't think I fidget too much.   Sometimes I do find myself picking at my fingers when I'm sitting and listening.

I think of the fidget spinner and the other toys that I guess are designed to help children who need to keep their hands busy.

4. Your favorite fall vegetable? How do you like it prepared?

I don't know something specific for fall...I'll look forward to reading other answers to determine mine.  :)

5. What's something you find mildly annoying, but not annoying enough to actually do anything about? Might you now?  One thing I thought of is the light bulb in the laundry room.  It used to come on gradually.  My husband changed it so it comes on all the way when you turn the switch (I don't know what it is called).  I do miss it coming on slowly, I think it is because of my light sensitivity.  We could change it back but I don't really have it as a big priority!

6. Insert your own random thought here.

Have you heard of Red Aspen?  My friend started selling these products.  A hugely popular one are these "dashes" for your nails.  I won this set in a giveaway she had.  She helped me put these on yesterday.  It was easy to apply.  I'm going to have an online "pop up" in a couple weeks.  I don't go get my nails done much (rarely if ever) so these are different for me and fun to have on.  You can reuse them and file them down to the shape you like.  I didn't file these much so I didn't lose the white and candy corn effect.  And they are much cheaper than going to the salon.

Have a day of blessings!

That is interesting about the audio books. I'm glad you are enjoying coloring. I haven't heard of Red Aspen. Your nails look nice.
