Wednesday Hodgepodge

1. It's often said we should be grateful for small blessings. What is one small blessing you are feeling especially grateful for today?
pomegranates!

2. How do you feel about leftovers, not just on Thanksgiving but after any meal? Favorite thing to make/eat using your Thanksgiving leftovers?

We usually have leftovers once a week (well at least when I do the monthly meal plan....totally haven't done that this month!)  I like having a couple choices in the fridge for lunches or to have for supper one night.

I love Thanksgiving leftovers.  It always feels like they taste better than the original.  My Mom heats me up a plate, knows how I like my turkey, dressing, and gravy, and fixes it just right.  We usually eat Thanksgiving leftovers for a couple of days....there is so much variety it doesn't seem like we are eating the same thing every meal.  Then if we have turkey or ham left we freeze it to eat later.

3. Sherwin Williams unveiled it's 2022 Color of the Year-Evergreen Fog. Are you a fan? Would I find this mid-tone gray green shade anywhere in your house? Does your house need painting? Inside or out? What one space is most in need of a paint job? Are you a do-it-yourselfer or do you hire a professional?

I think that is a great color for walls.  We don't have that shade anywhere.  We'd repainted our bedroom earlier this year.  It is more of a gray.

There are spots outside my husband will tell me needs painting as well as the inside walls.  We've painted bedrooms and the office since we've been here.  The rest of the house could use a paint job, especially the living room area.  My husband painted the bedrooms himself.

4. What is one aspect of the way you were parented that you are grateful for today?
My parents supported me in my events and activities and were always there for me.

5. Write an acrostic for the word-thankful

6. Insert your own random thought here.
November has gone quickly for us.  We have next week off from school and are looking forward to that.  We will do some traveling and be home too.
Happy Thanksgiving!

Have a day of blessings!

I've seen the color in a bedroom and thought it was so pretty. It didn't feel as dark as some of the photos make it appear. I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving! Safe travels!

Great answers. I'm sometimes disappointed when I realize there won't be leftovers...lol. Your acrostic was great.
