My thoughts:

I don't read a whole lot of Halloween themed books, but this was a board book so I wanted to check it out.  

I like that as you read children can guess who is hiding behind the door.  Then they can lift the flap to open the door and see if they guessed correctly.  This book has kids dressed up as a black cat, cowgirl, vampire, and more.
