Board Book: The Best Christmas Gift EVER!

In this festive VeggieTales book, the Veggies are celebrating Christmas -- decorating the tree, singing carols, and exchanging gifts. But even though it's so much fun to give and receive presents, the Veggies all know that the greatest gift of all was God's gift of Jesus, his Son. Children will love the colorful art featuring their favorite Veggie friends. Parents can use this book to introduce little ones to the reason we rejoice at Christmastime -- Jesus' birth. Ages 2-5.

My thoughts:
This little board book is short and sweet, just right to read to toddlers/preschoolers.  The rhyming text reminds us of the fun of the Christmas season using the characters of VeggieTales.  They find out that Jesus is the best gift of all.

I have never been a huge fan of the VeggieTales so I am not all that familiar with other pieces of work with these characters to compare it to.  This is a fun little book though, and I believe children will like it with its rhyming text and the fun, bright pictures.

One thing I noticed is the characters in the nativity display on the cover seem to be vegetables also, but the sheep looks like a real sheep. Just something I noticed with the illustrations.

This book was provided to me for my review with the Worthy Publishing blog tour.  Thank you.
Have a day of blessings!
