End of Year Wednesday Hodgepodge

1. Share a favorite moment from your Christmas holiday celebration.  There were several.  One was when my husband found our stockings on Christmas Eve (they were in an unlabeled box with a few random Christmas decorations) and thinking how next year we will have a new stocking to add.
2. What would you say has been the biggest news event during your life so far? For my lifetime I guess it would be 9-11.
3. The Pantone Color of the Year for 2015 is Marsala. What say you-like or no like? Would I find this color anywhere in your home or wardrobe? Will you add something in this shade to either? This is a pretty color and I like it.  I can't think of anything I have this color.  In the link with this question I see pomegranate, and I do love those and had one last week.
4. Would you rather meet your ancestors or your great grandchildren? Explain why. I would like to meet my ancestors at this point in my life. I've heard many stories about their lives and would like to know more about them and what life was like for them.

5. Share one life lesson learned in 2014.  There have been many. One with this pregnancy has been not living in fear. I could write an entire post on this. I've had a lot of worries since finding out I was pregnant and have to continually pray.  My husband has reminded me to focus on what is not the what ifs.

6. What was your best or favorite purchase made in 2014? One that came to mind is the flooring for the baby and Caleb's rooms.

7. What is one thing you're looking forward to in the new year?
Hmmm let me think....Just kidding, that is an easy one.....the safe arrival and delivery of our baby in April.

8.  Insert your own random thought here. We had a very enjoyable Christmas together and look forward to the New Year.  It is a cold, icy one here so we are staying in and having our traditional NYE "funny drinks" as Caleb used to call them.  We were planning to go to a gathering at church with snacks and games but it was canceled due to weather.

Have a day of blessings!

Enjoyed reading your answers. I know it can be hard to focus on the good, those what ifs can drive us crazy. I can't wait for your little one to arrive.
