Wednesday Hodgepodge

1. When you think of autumn what sounds come to mind? 
Cheering at football games and walking through crunchy leaves

2.  Is a trip to the mountains something you enjoy? What's your favorite mountain? 

Yes it is a nice place to visit. We enjoyed our time in TN this summer at the Great Smoky Mountain National Park.  

3. What's something that once felt like a mountain, but is now just a molehill? 

It seems like the answer would be something about parenting....like thinking ahead to a new stage but then when you are in that stage you realize it isn't as big of a deal or as hard as you thought.  

4. Let's play this or that-fall foods edition. Yes you have to choose. 

• pumpkin spice latte or chai latte 
• apple cider or hot chocolate  
• stew or chili
• sweet potato casserole or green bean casserole 
• butternut squash soup or creamy mushroom soup 
• cranberry sauce or gravy

The month went very fast as we got into the junior high school routine.

We had some rain this morning with more expected later this afternoon.  We have needed rain for a very long time here.
