2. Something that makes your heart skip a beat?
Since I'm a Mom of a firefighter, it hits my heart differently now when I hear a siren wherever I am. I think I'm more alert to them now.
3. Do you wear your heart on your sleeve or are you more of a closed book? Elaborate.
I'd say it probably depends who I am with and the situation. My husband and son definitely know if something is off for me, even the slightest bit. Sometimes I don't even know myself but my son does. I know people can read my expressions because I've been told I make faces! There are some situations though where I feel like I am more closed off and have up a wall.
4. According to Prevention Magazine, these are 25 of the best foods for heart health-
wild salmon, sardines, liver, walnuts, almonds, chia seeds, oatmeal, blueberries, coffee, red wine, green tea, soy milk, dark chocolate, raisins, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, cauliflower, sweet potatoes, whole grains, apples, oranges, grapefruit, avocado, avocado oil, olive oil
Which five do you include in your diet most often? Are there any foods on the list you simply cannot abide?
sweet potatoes
apples
Brussels sprouts
blueberries
oranges
I do love avocado too but don't buy one too often.
I don't eat a lot of things on this list, but there are several more I could have added to my list of five. We are using olive oil more now.
5. What was the last piece of furniture you bought? Is there a piece of furniture you need/want to purchase this year?
We haven't bought furniture in a long time. I don't even remember what it was. We will buy a new couch and love seat for the new house. These are old and very well used! I have thought about getting an extra large recliner, I'm not sure the real name of it but wider than normal so my son can sit by me (while he still fits!). We went and tried some out a couple months ago. I found some things I liked. It is so expensive!!

I'm sure the sirens give you pause. Yes, furniture in general is so expensive. It's kind of shocking, but we don't buy often. We tend to buy traditional pieces that we keep for years. Good luck with the packing!
Good luck with the packing!
I can't imagine how you feel when you hear a siren. What a constant worry.
At the start of the week we had Spring weather too, it's back to being chilly now. Hmmf.
I can't to being to imagine packing up my house. Yes, the siren's would definitely effect you. ((Hugs)) Your 5 are foods are good choices. Have fun shopping for the new furniture. Our weather has been okay but we are expecting rain tomorrow. However, we can use it!
